Pastéis de Belém

When I used to work at the embassy during the summer, my dad's boss got back from Portugal and gave these as souvenirs.

Egg tarts from Portugal! How boujee 


It came with sugar and cinnamon powder to go on top on the pastry. It was magnificent on its own but the additional ingredients really enhances it in terms of flavour, quality and eating experience.


The pastry was flaky, yet so buttery and the egg tart's top layer was slightly crunchy but inside, it's so rich, creamy and definitely decadent!

I loved it!
